Galentine’s Day: (noun) the nonofficial holiday in which ladies celebrate ladies; a time to show how much you love and appreciate your girl squad. The holiday was born on the popular TV show Parks and Recreation, in which in the main character, Leslie Knope, invites her best friends for a breakfast feast and gifts every February 13th, or “Galentine’s Day”.
The holiday has since taken on a life of its own and is celebrated by women all over the country in many different ways.
